This page describes what data we collect when you use hibiki and how we keep that data protected. We at hibiki collect personal information needed to verify your identity, process your deposits and withdrawals, investigate disputes, and provide customer support. Our privacy practices comply with standard data-protection principles: we collect only what is necessary, store it securely, and do not share it with third parties except where required by law or to operate our service.

When you open an account on hibiki, we collect your name, email address, phone number, ID number, proof of address, and banking details. We use this information to confirm your identity (KYC verification), prevent fraud and money laundering, process your transactions via DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, or e-wallet, and respond to your support requests. We store your data on secure servers and encrypt sensitive fields.

This notice explains our data practices in detail, your rights regarding your data, and how to contact us if you have privacy questions.

What Data We Collect on hibiki

We collect data in three categories: identity information, account activity, and device/behaviour data. Identity information includes your full name, date of birth, government ID number, ID type (KTP, passport, driver's license), proof of address, and banking details. We require this to verify your identity and comply with anti-money-laundering regulations.

Account activity data includes your email address, phone number, login history, transaction history (deposits, withdrawals, wagers, game outcomes), and correspondence with our support team. We use this data to process your transactions, settle disputes, and improve our service. Device and behaviour data includes your IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, and general location (country or city level, never precise GPS). We collect this to detect suspicious login patterns and prevent account takeover.

Cookie use: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to remember your login status, track session activity, and analyze how users navigate hibiki. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may limit functionality.

How We Use Your Data on hibiki

We use your data for several legitimate purposes. First, identity verification: we compare your submitted ID against our records and third-party databases to confirm you are who you claim to be. This happens once, during account opening, and again if we detect suspicious activity. Second, transaction processing: when you deposit or withdraw, we share your banking details with your payment provider (DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or your bank) so they can process the payment. Third, fraud and compliance: we scan your account against sanctions lists, monitor for money-laundering patterns, and investigate unusual transactions. If we detect a violation, we may suspend your account and report it to relevant authorities.

We also use your data for customer support—when you contact our team, we access your account history to answer your question. And we use anonymized, aggregated data (never identifying individuals) to understand which games are popular, which payment methods users prefer, and how to improve hibiki. We do not use your data for marketing or sell it to third parties.

Data Storage and Security on hibiki

We store your data on encrypted servers located outside Indonesia—typically in data centres in Singapore, Malaysia, or Australia. These servers are protected by firewalls, intrusion-detection systems, and access controls. Your password is salted and hashed using industry-standard algorithms; we never store it in plaintext. When you transmit data to hibiki (login, payment details, support messages), it travels over TLS 1.2 encrypted connections. Access to your data is restricted to hibiki staff with a legitimate business need—our support team can see your transaction history but not your password; our finance team can see your withdrawals but not your browsing behaviour.

We undertake to notify you by email if we detect a data breach—for example, if a third party gains unauthorized access to your account information. We do not guarantee that data is non-specific info secure, as no system is perfectly protected. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact our Customer Support team immediately.

Third-Party Partners and Data Sharing

We share your data with third-party partners only when necessary to operate hibiki. Your payment provider (mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, or your bank) receives your name, account number, and transaction amount when you deposit or withdraw. Our compliance-checking service receives your ID details to verify you are not on a sanctions list. Our customer-support ticketing system stores your email and transaction history so our team can assist you. We do not share your data with marketing firms, data brokers, or advertisers.

If hibiki is acquired or merged, we may transfer your data to the acquiring entity, subject to this same privacy notice. We may also disclose your data if required by law—for example, if a law-enforcement agency requests it as part of a fraud investigation. We will notify you of legal requests unless prohibited by the requesting authority.

Your rights regarding your data on hibiki

You have the right to request a copy of the data we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, and request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements). To exercise these rights, contact our support team with details of your request, and we respond within 30 days.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and for a period after closure (typically 5 years) to satisfy legal and anti-money-laundering obligations. After this retention period expires, we delete your data unless we are legally required to keep it longer. Transaction records are kept for 7 years to comply with financial regulations. If you close your hibiki account, we stop processing your data for marketing or service improvement, but we retain it to investigate disputes and comply with law.

Privacy Policy Changes and Contact

We may update this privacy notice from time to time as our practices evolve or legal requirements change. We will notify you by email of material changes. Your continued use of hibiki after we post changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated notice. If you have questions about our privacy practices, contact our support team at our Customer Support page or review our FAQ for common privacy questions. We are based in a jurisdiction outside Indonesia and comply with international data-protection standards.
